Maddy Jane is celebrating the release of her first single for the year ‘Something Old And Something New’ with a series of club parties across Australia this November-December.

“We are having a few little parties to end the year and to celebrate new music and the future! These are my only shows for the year and should be a whole heap of being not so serious,” says Maddy.

The tour kicks off at Yah Yah’s in Melbourne on November 8 before a sold out show supporting Spiderbait, then heads to Vic On The Park in Sydney for a rare free entry show and culminates in a very special ‘Prom in the Gong’ party in Maddy’s adopted hometown of Wollongong on December 5.

New single ‘Something Old And Something New’ premiered on triple j last week and is about meeting someone when you’re not looking for a relationship. Maddy says; “I think there’s an outdated assumption that women always want a relationship and this song’s basically like, we can not want it just as much as the boys.”

From the small town of Bruny Island, Tasmania; Maddy Jane has supported international heavy weightsHarry Styles and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, played the likes of Falls Festival and released her break out EP ‘Not Human At All’ with three songs receiving triple j support.
